Position Summary

The Finance & Credit Coordinator will support the Finance, Documentation, and Funding side of the customer onboarding process. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, self-driven, and able to competently multi-task while keeping up with large number of accounts. Follow-up and organization skills are essential. The candidate will be involved in documentation analysis, account profitability analysis, and have a basic understanding of rates and pricing. This position is located at Legacy West in Plano, TX. The candidate may work remotely at times depending on the status of the pandemic, to be determined by management.

Essential Job Functions
  • Communication with Customers, Lenders, and internal departments regarding credit and documentation via phone, email, and internal messaging.
  • Prescreen, package, and submit Customer credit for approval to various third-party lenders.
  • Work with Customers and Lending Partners to obtain missing information or additional information as needed.
  • Prepare documentation packages for signature.
  • Review documentation packages for correctness and completeness.
  • Maintain weekly/monthly/quarterly records and supporting documentation, as determined by management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, etc. Experience with Salesforce, Docusign, and Quickbooks is a plus but not required.
  • Solid time management and organizational skills.
  • Mature judgment and the ability to work independently, efficiently, and remotely (as required by management).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at the same time.
  • Ability to be a team player and have a comfort level working within a fast-paced team environment.
  • Must exhibit professionalism and a positive attitude and enjoy working with customers and various teams internally.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or degree from an accredited college/university or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Experience in credit approval process preferred.
  • Three (3) years of relevant industry experience preferred.
  • Must be dependable and able to work a Monday through Friday 8am-5pm work schedule, with some flexibility when needed.
