Position Summary

 SpectrumVoIP is looking for a hard-working, caring, dedicated Shipping & Receiving Clerk for our Irving, TX office. The ideal candidate will assess the inventory stock of all technology-related items, refurbish the returned equipment, and be able to work with minimal supervision. 

Essential Job Functions
  • Refurbishes returned equipment in an efficient and thorough manner
  • Receives material coming into the building by vendors, customers, or other warehouses accurately and promptly
  • Verifies the quantity and description of materials received by checking merchandise against the packing list
  • Keeps detailed logs of all materials received
  • Accurately place materials on shelves, in racks, or other designated storage areas in an orderly manner
  • Assembles and fills orders to be shipped to customers
  • Ensure warehouse/equipment is maintained on a regular basis
  • Ensures all back areas are clean, organized, and maintained
  • Maintains professional and supportive relationships with fellow team members, providing backup to other employees as the needs of the business dictate.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned 
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  • Be able to identify the product by size, type, style, color, or product code 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Exhibit a strong sense of professionalism, courtesy, and friendly demeanor 
  • Solid reading skills – must be able to read orders/match orders on shipping tickets to items picked 
  • Basic math skills and reasoning skills 
  • Strong understanding of computers and technical skills 
  • Must understand Microsoft office software programs 
  • Ability to understand and execute instructions 
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required 
  • 6 months related experience preferred 
  • Successfully pass the pre-employment check and drug screen 
Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, ability to move/carry product 
  • Standing: Remain upright on feet for sustained periods of time 
  • Walking: Ability to move throughout the store and department
