Position Summary

The Enterprise Business Development Representative (EBDR) is responsible for developing and strategically growing new customer accounts across a multitude of industries through prospecting and cold calling.  The EBDR will use prospecting and consultative selling skills, high energy and initiative to identify opportunities to provide additional value and savings to prospective businesses by developing relationships with department directors, and C-level executives.  This is an excellent opportunity to learn, grow, and be part of a dynamic sales team and culture.

Essential Job Functions

  • Generate business through proactive outreach to new customers via cold calling and strategic email campaigning
  • Quickly develop value-based business relationships with B2B customers at the highest levels of the customer’s company
  • Identify customer needs and requirements
  • Set qualified webinars for our Enterprise sales team
  • Research, qualify, manage and track leads and related sales activities utilizing established processes
  • Function competently and competitively in a fast-paced, highly transactional call-center environment that requires project and time management skills

 

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Proven track record of developing new customer accounts requiring heavy prospecting, cold calling, appointment setting, and closing ability
  • Demonstrable executive-level verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and think analytically

  • Working knowledge of sales concepts, methods, and techniques
  • Excellent communication and time management skills

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or degree from an accredited college/university
  • 4+ years’ experience of outbound B2B Enterprise sales/development experience OR a combination of work experience and education
  • Cold calling experience required
  • Proven track record of success building qualified pipeline (prospecting + appointment setting)
  • Enterprise prospecting experience
  • Strong desire to expand and acquire new skills

 

Salary: $40,000 + variable compensation

On-target earnings: $70,000+
